Inappropriate Email Behavior Part II
As I mentioned a few days ago, there’s a small group of folks in North Carolina who are about to open a restaurant, and they’ve included me on their correspondence, thinking I’m someone else. I’ve offered some good suggestions, but they didn’t respond to them to. Today, they included me on more emails.
First, the property manager for the site wrote: ”I am going to go ahead and sign [the restaurant] up for quarterly HVAC maintenance. The restaurant will be billed on the rent statement each quarter for the expense. Any repairs that are needed will be discussed accordingly. Thanks” This seemed a bit wasteful to me. Trying to be helpful, I replied: ”We’re really only going to use it during the winter and the summer. Maybe we could just have it serviced twice a year?”
Then, the property manager wrote: ”Guys, We really need to try to stay off the kitchen floor until at least Thursday. That paint needs 3 full days to cure. Please let everyone know that may be working in the space. We will repaint the little office floor once [the electrician] is done figuring out the electronics. Thanks” I replied: ”Like an idiot, I left my keys in the kitchen. Don’t worry … will go barefoot on the floor to get them so as to preserve the floor. Thanks!”
Still no response.
